वंशमूलक तीर्थ बरसोला
वंश उद्धारक तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ वंश की वृद्धि करने वाला कहा जाता है। महाभारत के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में पहुंच कर स्नान करने वाला व्यक्ति अपने वंश का उद्धार कर लेता है। वामन पुराण के अनुसार भली-भांति इन्द्रियों का निग्रह करने वाला तीर्थ सेवी मनुष्य वंशमूलक नामक तीर्थ में जाकर वहां स्नान करने से अपने वंश की वृद्धि प्राप्त करता है। यहाँ तीर्थ स्थित एक मन्दिर के बाहय भाग में गन्धर्व व किन्नरों की 9वीं-10वीं शती ई. की प्राचीन मूर्तियाँ स्थापित हैं जिससे इस तीर्थ की प्राचीनता सिद्ध होती है।

Tirtha related to redeeming of lineage
This tirtha is famous for redeeming the lineage of the people. According to the Mahabharata, a person who takes bath in the waters of this tirtha, gets his lineage redeemed. According to the Vaman Puran, a person who controls his senses properly, visits the Vanshmoolak tirtha and takes sacred bath there, gets success for his lineage. Ancient sculptures of Gandharvas and Kinnaras of 9th-10th century CE are installed on the façade of a temple which exists here. This proves the antiquity of this tirtha.
