भगवान सूर्य से सम्बन्धित तीर्थ
बोड़श्याम ग्राम स्थित यह तीसरा तीर्थ है जो सूर्य देव को समर्पित है। इस तीर्थ में भक्ति पूर्वक स्नान करने वाला मनुष्य सूर्य लोक में महान माना जाता है। कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि में प्राचीन काल से ही सूर्य पूजा का विशेष महत्त्व रहा है। सूर्यग्रहण के अवसर पर इस भूमि के सूर्य कुण्डों में स्नान करने की प्राचीन परम्परा रही है। इस तीर्थ पर भी प्राचीन काल में ऐसी परम्पराएं चलन में रहीं होंगी। बोड़श्याम ग्राम से मिलने वाले अनेक प्राचीन सँस्कृतियों के अवशेष भी इस अवधारणा को पुष्ट करते हैं।

This is the third tirtha located in Bodshyam village. It is dedicated to Surya, the Sun deity. A person who bathes in the waters of the tank with devotion is considered great in the world of Surya. Sun worship has been of special importance in Kurukshetra region since ancient times. There is an ancient tradition of bathing in the Surya Kunds of this land on the occasion of solar eclipse. The remains of many ancient cultures have been found from Bodshyam village.
