कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि की दक्षिण-पश्चिमी सीमा का यक्ष
यहां स्थित यक्ष कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के दक्षिण-पश्चिमी सीमा का यक्ष कपिल है। वामन पुराण में इस तीर्थ के निर्माता महर्षि परशुराम को बताया गया है जिसके अनुसार महर्षि परशुराम द्वारा निर्मित पुष्कर तीर्थ में जाने से मनुष्य के सम्पूर्ण मनोरथ सफल हो जाते हैं तथा यदि कोई राजा इस तीर्थ का सेवन करता है तो उसे अश्वमेघ यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त होता है। कार्तिक की पूर्णिमा को जो मनुष्य इस तीर्थ में दान करता है, देवता उस पर प्रसन्न होकर उसे अभिलषित वर प्रदान करते हैं।

In the Vaman Puran, sage Parashuram has been mentioned as the creator of this tirtha which is a seat of Kapil Yaksha. According to Vaman Puran, by visiting the Pushkar tirtha, all the wishes of a person are fulfilled. It is also said that if a king visits this tirtha, he gets the fruits of performing Ashwamedha Yajna. On the day of Kartik Purnima, the person who makes charity here, gets desired boon from the gods.
