नृसिंह तीर्थ, बारवा, कुरुक्षेत्र
यह तीर्थ 48 कोस कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि में स्थित भगवान विष्णु के चतुर्थ अवतार नृसिंह से से समबन्धित है। नृसिंह अवतार लेकर भगवान विष्णु ने हिरण्यकश्यप नामक दैत्य को मार कर उसके पुत्र भक्त प्रहलाद को बचाया था। लोक मान्यताओं के अनुसार महाभारत युद्ध में भीम ने इस स्थान पर भगवान नृसिंह की पूजा कर उनसे महाभारत युद्ध में विजयी होने का वरदान प्राप्त किया था। तीर्थ परिसर में साधुओं की समाधियां भी हैं। यहां से 9वीं-10वीं शती ई. की खण्डित मूर्ति का भाग भी मिला है।
Nrisimha Tirtha Barwa
This tirtha is associated with Nrisimha, the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, which is located in 48 Kos Kurukshetra region. In the incarnation of Nrisimha, Vishnu killed the demon named Hiranyakashyap and saved his son Prahlad who was a great devotee of Vishnu. According to popular belief, during the Mahabharata war, Bhima worshipped Nrisimha at this place and received the boon of victory in the Mahabharata war. There are also some Samadhi temples of saints in the tirtha complex. A part of a broken image of a deity of 9th-10th century CE has also been found here.
