नैमिष तीर्थ नौच
ऋषियों द्वारा निर्मित तीर्थ
महाभारत के वन पर्व के अनुसार नैमिष कुंज नामक इस तीर्थ का निर्माण नैमिषारण्य में निवास करने वाले मुनियों ने कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि में किया था। महाभारत के अनुसार नैमिष तीर्थ सिद्धों के द्वारा सेवित एवं पुण्यमयी तीर्थ है जहाँ देवताओं के साथ ब्रह्मा नित्य निवास करते हैं तथा यहां प्रवेश करने वाले मनुष्य के आधे पाप उसी क्षण नष्ट हो जाते हैं। तीर्थ पर उत्तर-मध्यकालीन घाट बने हुए है। तीर्थ स्थित मन्दिर की आन्तरिक भित्तियाँ सुन्दर चित्रों से सुसज्जित हैं।

Tirtha established by the sages
According to the Vana Parva of Mahabharata, this tirtha was built in the land of Kurukshetra by the sages living originally at Naimisharanya. According to the Mahabharata, Naimish tirtha is a holy tirtha served by the Siddhas where Brahma resides with the divinities. It is also stated that half of the sins of a person are destroyed the moment one enters to this tirtha. There are Late medieval ghats which adorn the tirtha tank. The walls of the temple are decorated with beautiful paintings.
