मिश्रक तीर्थ निसिंग
महर्षि वेद व्यास एवं ऋषि दधीचि से सम्बद्ध तीर्थ
अनेक तीर्थों का मिश्रण होने से ही इस तीर्थ का नाम मिश्रक पड़ा। वामन पुराण में इस तीर्थ से सम्बन्धित यह वर्णन मिलता है कि यहां इस तीर्थ में महर्षि व्यास ने दधीचि मुनि के लिए तीर्थों को एक ही तीर्थ में मिश्रित किया था जब कि महाभारत में उपलब्ध वर्णन में यहां ब्राह्मणों हेतु वेद व्यास द्वारा तीर्थों का मिश्रण किया गया था। वामन पुराण में उल्लेख है कि इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने वाला व्यक्ति मानो सभी तीर्थों में स्नान कर लेता है। मन्दिर में आधुनिक भित्तिचित्रों का सुन्दर अंकन है।

Tirtha associated with sages Ved Vyas and Dadhichi
This tirtha named Mishrak contains waters of many sacred tirthas. In the Vaman Puran, sage Vyasa had done this pious act for sage Dadhichi. According to the Mahabharata, the waters of many tirthas was collected here by the sage Ved Vyasa for the sake of Brahmins. According to the Vaman Puran, bathing in the tank of this tirtha bestows the merits of bathing in all the tirthas existing on the earth. The temple at tirtha contains modern paintings related to religious themes.
