लोकोद्धार तीर्थ लोधार
लौह ऋषि की तपोस्थली
‘इस तीर्थ का सम्बन्ध भगवान विष्णु से है क्योंकि वे तीनों लोकों का उद्धार करते हैं अतः इसका नाम लोकोद्धार तीर्थ पड़ा। महाभारत के अनुसार धर्म का तत्त्व जानने का इच्छुक श्रद्धालु इस तीर्थ में स्नान करके उपने आत्मीयजनों का उद्धार करता है। वामन पुराण के अनुसार त्रिलोक में पूजित इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने से मनुष्य आत्मीयजनों का उद्धार करता है। जनश्रुति के अनुसार यहाँ लौह ऋषि ने भी तपस्या की थी जिसके नाम पर इसका नाम कालान्तर में लोधर हुआ।

The place associated with sage Lauha
This tirtha is related to Lord Vishnu because he liberates the three worlds, hence it is named Lokoddhar tirtha. According to the Mahabharata, a devotee who wants to know the essence of Dharma liberates his loved ones by taking sacred bath in the waters of this tirtha. According to the Vaman Puran, a person can liberate his near and dear ones by taking bath in this tirtha which is revered in the three worlds. It is a popular belief that sage Lauha also performed sever penance here.
