The Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium named after the brave daughter of Haryana Dr. Kalpana Chawla, the astronaut and space scientist, has been developed for imparting non-formal education in astronomy among the masses. The excellent programs with the hi-tech digital and optomechanical system, the supporting exhibits placed inside and outdoor help people at large and students in particular in learning this frontier of science and satisfy their curious minds with a whole range of information about the universe.
