ज्येष्ठाश्रम तीर्थ बोड़श्याम
भगवान विष्णु से सम्बन्धित तीर्थ
वामन पुराण में कहा गया है कि ज्येष्ठाश्रम और विष्णु पद सरोवर में श्राद्ध, दान, व्रत नियम पूर्वक करने से अक्षय फल की प्राप्ति होती है और इसे सर्वपाप विनाशक कहा गया है। यहां ज्येष्ठमास के शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी को उपवास रख कर द्वादशी के दिन तीर्थ स्नान की परम्परा है। इस स्थान पर तीन अन्य तीर्थों (विष्णुहृद, कोटि तीर्थ एवं सूर्य तीर्थ) की उपस्थिति भी बताई गई है। तीर्थ परिवेश से हड़प्पा संस्कृति से लेकर गुप्त काल की संस्कृतियों के प्रमाण मिले है।

In the Vaman Puran, it is said that by performing Shraddha, donation, fasting at Jyeshthashram and Vishnupad tanks according to rules, one gets imperishable merits. The tirtha is said to be the destroyer of all sins. There is a tradition of fasting on the day of Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha falling in the month of Jyeshth and taking a holy bath on the day of Dwadashi at this tirtha. At this village three other tirthas- Vishnuhrad, Koti tirtha and Surya tirtha also exist. Archaeological remains from Late Harappan to Gupta period has been found from the village Bodshyam.
