धनक्षेत्र तीर्थ असन्ध
अनेक ऋषि-मुनियों की तपोस्थली
जनश्रुति के अनुसार इस तीर्थ का नाम धनक्षेत्र है जो कालांतर में अनेक ऋषि-मुनियों की तपस्थली रहा है। उन्हीं के आशीर्वाद से आज भी इसका महत्त्व बना हुआ है। लोक मान्यताओं के अनुसार तीर्थ स्थित समाधि की परिक्रमा करने से अत्यन्त शुभ फल मिलता है और रुके हुए काम पूरे हो जाते हैं। यहाँ पर परिक्रमा करवाने से दूध देना बन्द करने वाले पशु पुनः दूध देना शुरु कर देते हैं। तीर्थ परिवेश से उत्तर-मध्यकालीन लाखौरी ईंटे मिलती हैं।

According to popular belief, the name of this tirtha is Dhanakshetra which has been the seat of penances of many sages and seers over the ages. It is still important due to their blessings. According to popular belief, one who takes a Parikrama of the Samadhi situated in the tirtha brings very auspicious results and all pending works of a person get completed. By taking a Parikrama here, the animals which have stopped giving milk start giving milk again, Late medieval lakhori bricks are found in the surroundings of the tirtha complex.
