दस अश्वमेध यज्ञों का फल प्रदाता तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि की पूर्वी सीमा पर दृषद्वती नदी के तट पर स्थित है। महाभारत के वन पर्व में इस तीर्थ का उल्लेख शालूकिनी नाम से किया गया है। महाभारत के अनुसार यहाँ स्नान-दान करने से मनुष्य को दस अश्वमेध यज्ञों का फल मिलता है। वायु पुराण में कहा गया है कि दशाश्वमेध एवं पंचाश्वमेध नामक तीर्थ में श्राद्ध करने पर दश एवं पाँच अश्वमेध यज्ञों का फल प्राप्त होता है। तीर्थ स्थिति मन्दिरों में सुन्दर भित्ति चित्रों का अंकन है।

Tirtha which ensures the merits of performing ten Ashvamedha Yajnas
This tirtha is located on the bank of River Drishadvati, which anciently flowed on the eastern border of Kurukshetra region. This tirthas has been mentioned by the name Shalukini in the Van Parva of Mahabharata. According to the Mahabharata, by bathing and making charity here, a person gets the fruits of performing ten Ashvamedha Yajnas. It has been said in the Vayu Puran that by performing Shraddha at the tirtha named Dashashwamedha and Panchashwamedha, one gets the merits of performing ten and five Ashvamedha yajnas. Late medieval temple and ghats of the tirtha are embelished with wall paintings.
