नवग्रहों को समर्पित कुण्डों में से एक तीर्थ
अन्य नवग्रह कुण्डों के साथ इस कुण्ड का निर्माण भी युधिष्ठिर द्वारा भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के परामर्श पर करवाया गया था। नवग्रहों को समर्पित कुण्डों में यह कुण्ड, मुख्य सूर्य कुण्ड के पूर्व में स्थित है। तीर्थ पर बुध ग्रह और भगवान शिव का एक संयुक्त उत्तर-मध्यकालीन नागर शिखर युक्त मंदिर है। मन्दिर में बुध ग्रह की मानव प्रतिमा के साथ शिवलिंग प्रतिष्ठित है। तीर्थ स्थित आयताकार सरोवर पर चारों ओर से सीढ़ियां बनी हुई हैं। यहां श्रावण त्रयोदशी को स्नान का विशेष महत्व है।
Budh Kund Kaithal
One of the Kunds dedicated to the nine planets
Along with other nine Grah Kunds, this Kund was also constructed by Yudhishthira on the advice of Lord Krishna. Among the Kunds dedicated to the nine planets, this Kund dedicated to Budh or planet Mercury is located to the east of the main Surya Kund. A Late medieval temple with Nagar Shikhara is dedicated to Budh and Lord Shiva stands at the tirtha. Shivalinga is installed here with the human image of Budh. The rectangular tank located near the temple has stairs built from all four sides. Bathing here on Shravan Trayodashi has special significance.
