अमरत्व प्रदाता तीर्थ
जनश्रुति इस तीर्थ को महाभारत कालीन राजा डंग से जोड़ती हैं जिसके कारण इसे डंगाली तीर्थ भी कहते हैं। महाभारत में इसे अमरहृद तीर्थ कहा गया है जिसके अनुसार इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने के बाद इंद्र की पूजा करने से व्यक्ति को अमरत्व मिलता है। तीर्थ परिवेश से उत्तर-हडप्पा काल से मध्य काल तक के अवशेष मिलते हैं। यहां से 7वीं 8वीं शती ई. की एक देवी अम्बा की मूर्ति भी मिली है जिसे अब श्रीकृष्ण संग्रहालय, कुरुक्षेत्र में प्रदर्शित किया गया है।

Tirtha which ensures immortality
Local belief associates this tirtha with king Dang of Mahabharata period, due to which it is also called as Dangali tirtha. In the Mahabharata, it has been called Amarhrad tirtha, according to which, by worshipping Indra after taking bath in the waters of this tirtha, one gets immortality. Remains from the Late Harappan period to the medieval period are found from the vicinity of the tirtha. An image of goddess Amba dating 7th-8th century CE recovered near this site is displayed in Srikrishna Museum, Kurukshetra.
