बाला सुन्दरी तीर्थ हथीरा
पाण्डव कुल देवी को समर्पित तीर्य
लोक कथाओं के अनुसार इस तीर्थ की देवी, पाण्डवों की कुल देवी थी जिसकी पिण्डी यहां मध्यकाल में महाराष्ट्र से आए एक सन्त को मिली थी। पिण्डी मिलने के उपरान्त इस स्थान पर देवी का मन्दिर बनाया गया था। इस क्षेत्र के लोग इस देवी को अपनी कुल देवी मानते हैं। यहां बच्चों के मुण्डन संस्कार सम्पन्न करने की भी परम्परा है। तीर्थ के परिवेश से महाभारत कालीन धूसर चित्रित मृदभाण्ड और मध्यकालीन मृदभाण्ड मिलते हैं।

Temple dedicated to the family goddess of Pandavas
According to folklore, the goddess of this tirtha is the family goddess of the Pandavas, whose symbolic form was found here by a saint who came from Maharashtra in the medieval times. After finding the Pindi or symbolic form of the goddess a temple of the goddess was built at this place. The people of this region also consider this goddess as their family deity. There is also a tradition of performing the tonsure ceremony of children here. Painted Grey Ware associated with Mahabharata period and some medieval potteries have also been found from the vicinity of the tirtha.
