बरणावती तीर्थ बारणा
यह तीर्थ प्राचीन काम्यक वन के विस्तार क्षेत्र में स्थित है। स्थानीय लोग इसे बण तीर्थ भी कहते हैं। वनवास के दौरान पाण्डव लंबे समय तक काम्यक वन में रहे। वरणावती नदी के तट पर स्थित होने के कारण ही इस गांव का नाम बारणा पड़ा होगा। 17वीं शती ई. में गुरु तेग बहादुर ने भी गांव का भ्रमण कर अपने अनुयायियों को सतनाम पर प्रवचन दिया था। तीर्थ पर उत्तर-मध्यकालीन घाट बने हैं। तीर्थ परिवेश से मध्यकालीन मृदभाण्ड मिलते हैं।
Baranavati Tirtha Barana
This tirtha is located in the area of ancient Kamyak forest. Local people also call it Ban tirtha. During their exile, Pandavas stayed in Kamyak forest for a long time. This village must have been named Barana because it is located on the bank of the River Varanavati. In the 17th century CE, Guru Teg Bahadur also visited the village and preached Satnaam to his followers. There are Late-medieval ghats at the tirtha. Medieval pottery has also been found from the surroundings of the tirtha.
