कुलोत्तारण तीर्थ कौल
प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र के मोक्ष तीर्थों में से एक
कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के मोक्ष तीर्थों में से यह एक प्रमुख तीर्थ है। महाभारत में इस तीर्थ का नाम कुलम्पुन है। वामन पुराण के अनुसार इस तीर्थ का निर्माण भगवान विष्णु ने वर्णाश्रम धर्म का पालन करने वाले मनुष्यों को तारने के लिए किया था। विशुद्ध मोक्ष की इच्छा करने वाले लोग इस तीर्थ में जाकर परम पद का दर्शन कर लेते हैं। नारद पुराण के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में जाकर स्नान करने वाला पुरुष अपने कुल का उद्धार करके कल्प पर्यन्त स्वर्ग लोग में निवास करता है।

This is another Moksha tirthas of Kurukshetra region. In the Mahabharata, the name of this tirtha occurs as Kulampun. According to the Vamana Purana, this tirtha was built by Lord Vishnu to save the people who follow Varnashram Dharma. People who desire salvation visit this tirtha and get the ultimate aim of life. According to the Narada Purana, a man who visits this tirtha and takes a sacred bath here, saves his clan and lives in heaven for a Kalpa.
