In order to enlighten the people with the local culture and rich tradition of Haryana, the Dharohar Haryana Sangrahalaya was established in the year 2006. The Dharohar Sangrahalaya is located near the Bhagavadgita Sadan of Kurukshetra University. It was opened for the public after its inauguration on 28th April, 2006. The museum houses a variety of objects like agricultural and domestic implements and art and craft items from the state of Haryana. The second phase of the Dharohar showcases various craft objects made in folk cultural traditions of Haryana.
