खट्वांगेश्वर तीर्थ खडालवा
प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र के प्रमुख शैव तीर्थों में से एक
कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के शैव तीर्थों में से एक इस तीर्थ का सम्बन्ध जनश्रुतियां प्रचलित महाराजा खण्डेश्वर से जोड़ती हैं जिन्होंने यहां विश्राम कर भगवान शिव की अर्चना की थी। महाराजा खण्डेश्वर ने इस स्थान पर खडालवा नामक एक ग्राम बसाया था। यहां स्थित मन्दिर में एक स्वंभू पाषाण का बृहदाकार शिवलिंग है जिसकी ऊंचाई लगभग 2 फुट है। तीर्थ परिसर से पहली शती ई. तक की ईंटे और मृदपात्र मिले हैं जिससे इस स्थल की प्राचीनता सिद्ध होती है।

One of the major Shaivite tirthas of ancient Kurukshetra
This tirtha is associated with king Khandeshwar of Ayodhya who rested and prayed Lord Shiva here. King Khandeshwar had settled a village named Khadalwa at this place but the village at present is not into existence. The temple of the tirtha has a huge stone Shivlinga. The height of this Shivlinga is about two feet. Bricks and potteries dating first century CE have been found from the tirtha complex, which proves the antiquity of this tirtha.
