सप्तऋषियों से सम्बन्धित तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि में ब्रह्मा से सम्बन्धित तीर्थों में से एक है। महाभारत के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में स्थित सप्तर्षि (भारद्वाज, गौतम, जमदग्नि, कश्यप, विश्वामित्र, वशिष्ठ एवं महर्षि अत्रि) कुण्डों में स्नान करने से मनुष्य ब्रह्म लोक को प्राप्त करता है। वामन पुराण में इस तीर्थ के ब्रह्मा जी द्वारा सेवित होने से ही ब्रह्मोदुम्बर की संज्ञा दी गई है। सरोवर से लगते हुए टीले से कुषाण काल (प्रथम शती ई.) के पुरावशेष मिलने से भी इसकी प्राचीनता सिद्ध होती है।

Tirtha related to Brahma
This is one of the tirthas related to Lord Brahma in Kurukshetra region. At the tirtha were present seven sacred ponds dedicated to seven great sages Bhardwaj, Gautam, Jamadagni, Kashyap, Vishwamitra, Vashishtha and Atri. According to the Mahabharata, by taking bath in the ponds dedicated to seven great sage, a person attains the world of Brahma. In the Vaman Puran, this tirtha has been called Brahmodumbar because it is associated with Lord Brahma. The artefacts of Kushan period (Ist century CE) from the mound adjacent to the tirtha tank prove the antiquity of the tirtha.
