गोभवन तीर्थ गुहना
गौदान फल प्रदाता तीर्थ
महाभारत तथा पद्म पुराण में यह तीर्थ गवां भवन के नाम से उल्लिखित है। महाभारत के अनुसार तीर्थ सेवी मनुष्य को चाहिए कि वह गवांभवन तीर्थ में जाकर वहां स्नान करे। ऐसा करने वाले मनुष्य को गोसहस्र दान का फल प्राप्त होता है। प्रचलित जनश्रुति के अनुसार यहाँ पर न्यालगिरि नामक एक तपस्वी ने एक मृत गाय को इस सरोवर में स्नान करवाया था जिससे वह पुनर्जीवित हो गई थी। इस तीर्थ में भाद्रपद मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की षष्ठी को स्नान करना श्रेष्ठ समझा जाता है।

This Tirtha is mentioned by the name of Gavan Bhavan in the Mahabharata and the Padma Purana. According to the Mahabharata, the devotee should go to Gavan Bhavan tirtha and take sacred bath there. The person doing this act gets the fruits of donating a thousand of cows. According to popular folklore, an ascetic named Nyalgiri had made a dead cow to take bath in the tank of the tirtha due to which it was revived. It is considered best to take bath at this tirtha on sixth day of Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadrapad.
