ब्रह्मलोक प्रदाता तीर्थ
48 कोस की सीमारेखा पर स्थित यह कुरुक्षेत्र के ब्रह्मतीर्थों (ब्रह्मसर, ब्रह्मयोनि, ब्रह्मोदुम्बर, ब्रह्मावर्त) में से एक है। महाभारत के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने पर मनुष्य ब्रह्मलोक को प्राप्त करता है। वामन पुराण में कहा गया है कि इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने पर व्यक्ति निःसन्देह ब्रह्मज्ञानी हो जाता है एवं वह अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार अपने प्राणों का परित्याग करता है। नारद पुराण में भी इस तीर्थ का ऐसा ही महत्व वर्णित है।

Situated on the border of 48 Kos Kurukshetra region, this is one of the tirthas related to Lord Brahma. According to the Mahabharata, a person attains the world of Lord Brahma by taking sacred bath in the waters of this tirtha. It is said in the Vamana Purana that a person becomes an expert in Brahmavidya by taking bath in this tirtha. Such person can give up his life according to his wish. Similar importance of this tirtha is also described in the Narada Puran.
