कोटिकूट तीर्थ क्योड़क
कुन्ती से सम्बन्धित तीर्थ
ब्रह्म पुराण के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में करोड़ तीर्थ समाविष्ट हैं। प्रचलित जनश्रुति के अनुसार महाभारत काल में कुन्ती के द्वारा आत्मग्लानि से युक्त होने पर एक ऋषि ने इनको प्रायश्चित स्वरूप एक करोड़ तीर्थों में स्नान करने का परामर्श दिया। तब कुन्ती ने यहाँ स्नान कर पाप से मुक्ति प्राप्त की। लोगों में ऐसा विश्वास पाया जाता है कि इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने से मनुष्य सभी पापों से मुक्त हो जाता है। तीर्थ परिवेश से महाभारत कालीन धूसर चित्रित मृद्भाण्ड भी मिले हैं।

According to the Brahma Puran, in this tirtha the waters of crores of sacred tirthas is mingled. According to popular belief, during the Mahabharata period, when Kunti was filled with remorse, then a sage advised her to take bath in one crore tirthas as a way of atonement. Then Kunti took bath here and got rid of her sins. People believe that by taking bath in the waters of this tirtha, a pilgrim is freed from all sins. Painted Grey Ware associated with Mahabharata period has been found from the surroundings of the tirtha.
