फल्की वन स्थित मोक्ष तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के सात वनों में से एक फलकी वन में स्थित मोक्ष तीर्थ है। इसे फल्गु ऋषि की तपोस्थली माना जाता है। वामन पुराण के अनुसार सोमवार की अमावस्या के दिन इस तीर्थ में किया गया श्राद्ध पितरों को वैसा ही तृप्त और सन्तुष्ट करता है जैसा कि गया में किया गया श्राद्ध। यहां आश्विन मास की सोमवती अमावस्या के दिन लाखों की संख्या में तीर्थ यात्री पितरों को संतुष्ट व प्रसन्न करने हेतु यहां पिण्डदान करने आते हैं। इस दिन गया में पिण्डदान नहीं होता है।

This salvation providing tirtha is situated in Phalkivan, one of the seven forests of ancient Kurukshetra region. It is considered to be the place of penance of sage Phalgu. According to the Vamana Purana, the Shraddha performed at this tirtha on Amavasya falling on Monday satisfies the ancestors and is equivalent to Shraddha performed at Gaya. On the day of Somvati Amavasya which occurs in the month of Ashwin, lakhs of pilgrims come here to perform Pind Daan to satisfy and please their ancestors. On this day Shraddha ceremony is not performed at Gaya, the famous tirtha in Bihar.
