प्राचीन मधुवन स्थित देवी तीर्थ
यह देवी तीर्थ प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के सात वनों में से एक मधुवन के अन्तर्गत स्थित है। महाभारत के अनुसार जो मनुष्य पवित्र हृदय से मधुवटी के देवी तीर्थ में जाकर वहाँ स्नान करके देवताओं एवं पितरों की पूजा अर्चना करता है. देवी की कृपा से उसे सहस्र गऊओं के दान का पुण्य फल प्राप्त होता है। वामन पुराण में कहा गया है कि यहां देवताओं एवं पितरों की पूजा करने वाला मनुष्य देवी की कृपा से अभिलषित सिद्धि को प्राप्त कर लेता है।

This Devi tirtha is situated in Madhuvan, one of the seven forests of ancient Kurukshetra region. According to the Mahabharata, one who goes to the Devi tirtha of Madhuvati with a pure heart and bathes there and worships the deities and ancestors, by the grace of the goddess he gets the merit of donating thousand cows. It is said in Vaman Puran that a person who worships the deities and ancestors here, by the grace of the goddess, gets the desired success.
