सूर्यकुण्ड हाबड़ी
प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के सूर्यकुण्डों में से एक
पौराणिक साहित्य के अनुसार यहाँ स्नान करके देवताओं एवं पितरों की अर्चना करके उपवास करने वाला पुरुष अग्निष्टोम यज्ञ के फल को पाकर सूर्यलोक को जाता है। एक जनश्रुति के अनुसार इसी स्थान पर ऋर्षि महर्षियों ने महाभारत युद्ध में मारे गए योद्धाओं की मोक्ष प्राप्ति के लिए अनन्य भाव से सूर्यदेव की आराधना की थी। तीर्थ पर अष्टकोणीय बुर्जियों वाले घाट बने हुए हैं। मन्दिर के गर्भगृह की दीवारों पर भित्तिचित्रों का अंकन है।

One of the Suryakunds of Kurukshetra region
According to legends, a person who takes bath, worships deities and ancestors and observes fasting here, gets the fruits of performing Agnishtom yajna and attains the world of Surya, the sun god. According to a legend, at this place the great sages worshipped Surya with devotion for attaining the salvation for the warriors killed in the Mahabharata war. There are Late medieval bathing ghats with octagonal turrets at this tirtha. The wall paintings in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple may be seen here.
