देवी लक्ष्मी को समर्पित तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ मनुष्य को श्री, लक्ष्मी, वैभव, ऐश्वर्य, धन-सम्पदा प्रदान करने वाला है। महाभारत के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में जाकर एवं इस तीर्थ में संयमी हृदय से स्नान करके देवताओं एवं पितरों की अर्चना करने वाला मनुष्य अतुल श्री एवं वैभव को प्राप्त करता है। नारद पुराण में ऐसा उल्लेख है कि जो मनुष्य श्रीतीर्थ में स्नान करके श्री हरि का पूजन करता है वह प्रतिदिन भगवान को अपनी समीप विद्यमान पाता है। यहां मन्दिर की भित्तियां चित्रों द्वारा अलंकृत हैं।

A tirtha dedicated to goddess Lakshmi
This tirtha bestows people with opulence, wealth and prosperity. According to the Mahabharata, a person who visits this tirtha and takes. bath in waters of this tirtha with a restrained heart and worships the gods and ancestors, attains immense wealth and prosperity. It is mentioned in Narada Purana that a person who takes a bath at Sri tirtha and worships Sri Hari finds deity’s present near him every day. The walls of the temple are decorated with paintings.
