पौराणिक देवी तीर्थ
कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के देवी तीर्थों में से एक इस तीर्थ का उल्लेख महाभारत एवं वामन पुराण में स्पष्ट उपलब्ध होता है। महाभारत के अनुसार श्रद्धावान एवं जितेन्द्रिय मनुष्य कलशी तीर्थ का सेवन करके अग्निष्टोम यज्ञ का फल प्राप्त करता है। वामन पुराण के अनुसार भद्रा, निद्रा, माया, सनातनी एवं कात्यायनी रूपा दुर्गा देवी स्वयं अवस्थित हैं। कलशी तीर्थ में स्नान कर उसके किनारे पर स्थित दुर्गादेवी का दर्शन करने वाला मनुष्य निःसन्देह दुस्तर संसार दुर्ग को पार कर जाता है।

One of the tirthas dedicated to mother goddess
This tirtha is one of the famous Devi tirthas of Kurukshetra region. It is mentioned in the Mahabharata and Vaman Puran. According to the Mahabharata, a person who is devoted and has controlled his senses, gets the fruits of performing Agnishtom yajna by visiting this tirtha. According to Vaman Puran, Bhadra, Nidra, Maya, Sanatani and Katyayani forms of goddess Durga are always present here. A person who takes bath in the waters of this tirtha and sees goddess Durga, undoubtedly gets rid of mundane troubles.
