कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के देवी तीर्थों में से एक
लोक प्रचलित किंवदन्तियों के अनुसार देवीगढ़ नामक यह स्थान प्रत्येक वर्ष बाढ़ के प्रकोप के कारण सामान्य ढंग से बसता नहीं था। किसी सज्जन महात्मा को देवी ने स्वप्न में दर्शन देकर कहा कि यदि इस स्थान पर दुर्गा माता की प्रतिमा स्थापित की जाए तो यह स्थान भली भाँति बस जाएगा तथा सभी का कल्याण होगा। इसके उपरान्त ही यहाँ नवदुर्गा मन्दिर का निर्माण हुआ। यहाँ स्थित मन्दिर की भित्तियों पर पत्रपुष्पों के अलंकरण के साथ रासलीला का सुन्दर चित्रण है।

According to popular tradition, this place named Devigarh could not be inhabited due to outbreak of floods every year. The Goddess appeared in the dream of a sage and said that if the idol of goddess Durga is installed at this place, then this place will be properly inhabited and everyone will be blessed. After this, the Navdurga temple was built here. The temple. located here has a beautiful depiction of Raaslila with floral decoration.
