ब्रह्मा से सम्बन्धित तीर्थों में से एक
यह तीर्थ कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के ब्रह्मा से सम्बन्धित तीर्थों में से एक है। महाभारत के अनुसार इस तीर्थ में स्नान करने से ब्राह्मणेतर मानव ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त हो जाता है। ब्रह्म पुराण में इस तीर्थ की गणना समन्तक पंचक तीर्थ के साथ दी गई है। इस पुराण में इस तीर्थ को देवताओं के लिए भी दुर्लभ तथा मनुष्यों के लिए भोग, ऐश्वर्य एवं मोक्ष देने वाला बताया गया है। तीर्थ स्थित मन्दिर के पास अष्टकोण बुर्जियों वाले उत्तर-मध्यकालीन लाखौरी ईंटों से निर्मित घाट हैं।

According to the Mahabharata, by taking bath in the waters of this tirtha, a non-Brahmin attains brahminhood. In the Brahma Puran, this tirtha is mentioned along with Samantak Panchak tirtha. In this Puran, this tirtha is said to be rare even for the gods. It is said that this tirtha provides enjoyment, prosperity and salvation to the human beings. The bathing ghats of the tank of the tirtha are made of Late medieval lakhori bricks comprising octagonal turrets.
