वेदवती तीर्थ सीतामाई
प्राचीन कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि का रामायण कालीन तीर्थ
इस तीर्थ का सम्बन्ध सीता से है जो पूर्व जन्म में वेदवती थी। जनश्रुतियों के अनुसार सीता इसी स्थान पर धरती में समाई थी। वामन पुराण में कहा गया है कि यहां स्नान करने पर व्यक्ति कन्या यज्ञ के फल को प्राप्त करता है तथा सभी पापों से रहित होकर परमपद को प्राप्त करता है। तीर्थ स्थित मन्दिर का निचला भाग ढलाई युक्त ईंटों से निर्मित है जो कि कलायत स्थित मन्दिर जैसा ही है। कलायत मन्दिर की तरह यह मन्दिर भी 7-8वीं शती ई. में बनाया गया प्रतीत होता है।

Tritha existed during Ramayana era
This tirtha is related to Sita who was Vedvati in her previous birth. According to folklore, Sita has entered into the earth at this place. It is said in the Vaman Puran that by taking bath here, a person gets the merits of performing Kanya Yajna and gets rid of all sins and attains the supreme position. The lower part of the temple located at the tirtha is made of moulded bricks is comparable with the brick temple of Kalayat (district Kaithal) dated to 7th-8th century CE..
