कुलोत्तारण तीर्थ कुलतारण
कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि का एक प्रमुख मोक्षदायक तीर्थ
कुलोत्तारण नामक तीर्थ का उल्लेख वामन पुराण तथा महाभारत में मिलता है जो कि कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के प्रमुख मोक्ष तीर्थों में से एक है। ग्राम कुलतारण का नाम इसी तीर्थ के नाम पर ही रखा गया है। लोककथाओं के अनुसार पांडवों ने इस तीर्थ पर अपने पूर्वजों के लिए तर्पण और पिंडदान किया था। तब से प्रत्येक अमावस्या को यहां पिंडदान और तर्पण की परम्परा चली आ रही है। यहां तीर्थ पर शिव और हनुमान के मंदिरों के साथ अनेक संतों के समाधि मंदिर हैं जिनमें बाबा बलवान गिरि का मुख्य समाधि मंदिर भी एक है।
Kulottaraan Tirtha Kultaran
One of the salvation ensuring tirtha of Kurukshetra region
The tirtha named Kulottaraan is mentioned in the the Mahabharata and Vaman Puran, which ensures salvation in the Kurukshetra region. Village Kultaran is named after this tirtha. According to folklore, the Pandavas performed Tarpan and Pind-daan for their ancestors at this tirtha. Since then, the tradition of offering Pind-daan and Tarpan is continuing here on every Amavasya. The temples of Shiva, Hanuman and Samadhi temples. of saints exist at this tirtha. Of these main Samadhi temple belongs to Baba Balwan Giri.
