देवी लक्ष्मी को समर्पित तीर्थ
महाभारत के अनुसार संयमित हृदय वाला भक्त इस तीर्थ के जल में स्नान करने के बाद भरपूर धन और समृद्धि प्राप्त करता है। नारद पुराण में कहा गया है कि भक्त इस तीर्थ के जल में स्नान करने और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा करने के बाद हमेशा अपने साथ भगवान की उपस्थिति का अनुभव करता है। यहां से प्रारंभिक मध्ययुगीन काल की ईंटें एवं 7वीं-8वीं शती ई. की एक देवी की मूर्ति का शिरोभाग भी मिला है। तीर्थ परिवेश से उत्तर-हड़प्पा काल से लेकर आद्य ऐतिहासिक काल तक पुरावशेष मिलते हैं।

According to the Mahabharata, a devotee with a restrained heart attains abundant wealth and prosperity after taking bath in the waters of this tirtha. The Narada Purana states that a devotee who bathes in the waters of this tirtha and worships Lord Vishnu always feels the presence of deity with him. Bricks of the early medieval period and a stone female head dating 7th-8th century CE have been found from here. The surroundings. of the tirtha contain archaeological remains from Late Harappan period to the Early historic times.
