जड़भरत तीर्थ जडौला
राजा ऋषभदेव के पुत्र भरत से सम्बन्धित तीर्थ
यह तीर्थ कुरुक्षेत्र भूमि के विशालत्तम तीर्थों में से एक है। लौकिक मान्यताएं इस तीर्थ को सूर्यवंशी राजा ऋषभदेव के पुत्र भरत से जोड़ती हैं जो अपने दूसरे जन्म में हिरण के रूप में जन्मे थे। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस सरोवर में स्नान करने और भगवान विष्णु की पूजा करने से व्यक्ति को आत्मज्ञान की प्राप्ति होती है। तीर्थ के घाट मध्यकालीन लाखौरी ईटों से निर्मित हैं। तीर्थ परिसर से 9वीं-10वीं शती ई. की कुछ खण्डित मूर्तियां एवं मृदभाण्ड मिले हैं।

Tirtha related to Bharat, son of king Rishabhdev
This tirtha is one of the largest tirthas of 48 Kos Kurukshetra region. Popular belief associates this tirtha with Bharat, son of king Rishabhdev of solar dynasty of Ayodhya. Bharat was born as a deer in his second birth. It is believed that by taking bath at this tank and worshipping Lord Vishnu, one attains self-knowledge. The ghats of the tirtha are built of medieval lakhori bricks. Some broken sculptures and potteries belonging to 9th-10th century CE have been found from the tirtha premises.
